1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern your use of the QRport mobile apps and this website, published by Northstack Studio ("we", "us"). By installing or using QRport you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use QRport on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
3. No account required
QRport does not have user accounts. You do not register, and we do not hold credentials or a profile for you. Your scan history and settings are stored on your device only, and deleting the app removes them.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use QRport lawfully, and do not use it to scan, generate or distribute content you have no right to.
- Do not use the app to facilitate fraud, phishing, or any attempt to mislead others.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or misuse the app or the services it relies on.
- You are responsible for the codes you generate and share, and for anything you choose to do with a code you scan.
5. The link safety check — important
QRport inspects the structure of a scanned link on your device and flags patterns commonly used in phishing. This is not antivirus, malware detection, or a security guarantee. It does not consult any external reputation or threat service.
A verdict of "nothing suspicious found" means only that no known pattern matched. It does not mean a link is safe, trustworthy, or free of harm. Equally, a warning does not prove that a link is malicious. The check is provided for information only, it may produce false results in either direction, and you remain solely responsible for deciding whether to open a link, join a network, or act on any scanned code. Do not rely on QRport as your only safeguard.
6. QRport Pro subscriptions
Scanning and the link safety check are free and unlimited. QRport Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that adds unlimited history, custom code styling and bulk creation.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us. Prices may vary by region and may change with notice.
7. Your content
The codes you scan and create are yours. Because they are stored only on your device and never transmitted to us, we claim no rights over them and have no access to them.
8. Service changes & availability
We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the app or a particular feature. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but the app is provided on an "as available" basis.
9. Termination
You may stop using QRport at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these terms or use the app unlawfully.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
QRport is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any code, link or safety verdict will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Northstack Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of QRport — including any loss arising from acting on a scanned code or on a safety verdict. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use QRport after a change means you accept the revised terms.
